Our top-quality son of Hello Youmzain, who boasts an international pedigree, will be bound for Sydney after he was sold for $425,000 during Day Two of New Zealand Bloodstock’s National Yearling Sale.
Lot 438 had an abundance of admirers, but it was the potent combination of Mulcaster Bloodstock and Chris Waller Racing who outstayed their rivals to secure the prize.
The colt is a three-quarter brother to the English stakes winner Never Back Down and her other two foals Super Goldi and Ariki have been successful in Hong Kong and France respectively.
Their dam is the winning Irish-bred Pivotal mare Steer By The Stars, who is a half-sister to the black-type winners Consort and Her World.
