Our Pierro mare Dazzled turned on a spectacular display at Tauranga where she kicked off her season in the best possible way.The four-year-old had placed in the autumn and trainer Lance Noble had her in fine fettle to resume off the back of a winning trial earlier this month on the all-weather track at Cambridge.Dazzled was tardily away in her return and settled third last under jockey Warren Kennedy. She began to pick up ground 500 metres from home and finished powerfully down the centre of the course to swamp her rivals and win going away by half a-length.We bred Dazzled who has a pedigree to be proud of and is a half-sister to the G2 Wakefield Challenge Stakes winner Gift Of Power.Their dam is the late Capital Diamond, whose third dam was the legendary Eight Carat, and she was successful on three occasions and finished third in the G1 New Zealand 1000 Guineas.
