Lot 8 is the first foal out of high-class mare Kahma Lass. Kahma Lass won the Gr.1 New Zealand One Thousand Guineas at just her fourth start and the following spring added the Listed Weekend Hussler Stakes at Caulfield to her CV as a four-year-old. Kahma Lass was not only a talented performer on the track but she is also exceptionally well bred. She is by Danehill's successful sire son Darci Brahma and a sibling to three other stakes winners. This colt is by brilliant Japanese racehorse Maurice. From his first three modestly sized crops in Australia Maurice has already produced nine stakes winners including Gr.1 winners Hitotsu and Mazu. Six of Maurice's stakes winner including both of his Gr.1 winners are out of Danehill-line mares.
